Axellant Founder and CEO Yoram Zarfaty is a results-driving leader with over 20 years of experience in high tech engineering, R&D and operations. He has led small, mid and large scale R&D and product development programs focused on embedded software within enterprise and startup environments. An effective communicator with technology, executive and business audiences, as well as an effective collaborator with cross-functional teams and clients, Yoram excels at streamlining organizations, cost cutting and continuous process improvement in the rapidly evolving technology industry.
Prior to founding Axellant, Yoram headed the IP Routers PIDS (Product Introduction, Deployment & Support) organization at Ericsson, leading cross-functional teams across five time zones, increasing successful product introductions and customer engagement projects by a factor of 10.
As R&D Senior Program Manager at Ericsson, he restructured the System and Technology teams to handle ever-increasing feature requirements and worked closely with Product Management to grow the product portfolio throughout five regions. Before joining Ericsson, Yoram held management roles at several Silicon Valley companies, prior to which he gained extensive hands-on experience engineering embedded software systems, working with international teams while based both in the U.S. and abroad.
Yoram earned a BS in Computer Engineering from Technion Israel Institute of Technology, holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and is certified by PMI as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
